As administrator, leader or volunteer of Grace Works Ministries we are representatives of Word of Grace church and of the body of Christ. It is of the utmost importance that we conduct ourselves as such, in every aspect while we are engaging in public outreach, help, visitation or any other manner that may be implemented through Grace Works Ministries. As representatives, of our Lord Jesus Christ, we are expected to bear good fruit as written in Galatians 5:22-26 “The fruit of the sprit is LOVE, JOY, PEACE, LONG-SUFFERING, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS and SELF-CONTROL”. In addition to personal conduct, Grace Works has adopted some guidelines to help us be successful in ministering to many inside and outside of the church walls. It is our hope, that with the help of many Godly volunteers, we will be able to reach those who are hurting, suffering, in need, alone or lost, for the glory of Jesus Christ. The following is a list of adopted expectations for all areas of outreach ministry. These guidelines only apply to outreaches and events organized and performed by Grace Works Ministry teams.

- All who drive church vehicles must be 25 years of age with a clean driving record and pre-qualified by the WOG administration.

- All requests for help must go through the church information desk. The information desk host will reach out to the appropriate team lead per the request.

- Anyone entering a home must have consent from the homeowner and at least one additional person (minimum of two people). A signed release form is required before performing any task.

- All outreach team leaders must pair members into teams of two or more while working within schools, nursing homes, hospitals and homes etc.

- Any outreach involving youth must have background checks on all team members. (see church administration for forms)

- All areas of outreach must have approval from the Grace Works Board of Directors.

- No adult is allowed to be alone with minors or the elderly at any time.

- Outreach leaders have the authority to correct, stop or dismiss any team member not adhering to Grace Works Ministries expectations at any time. All incidents must be reported to the Grace Works Board of Directors.

- Outreach leaders must train team members in the area of which they will be performing duties.

- No person is allowed to give food or medication to hospital patients or nursing home residents. Any food distribution such as holiday treats must be administered through the facility administration.

By signing this form below, you agree to all of the written expectations above and understand that any area in which these expectations are not met may result in your dismissal from future Grace Work Ministries outreaches.
